Zoom G3 et G3x

Oui voilà.
Du coup en plus de ma orange burst je vais bientôt avoir une ds1 et une mt2.
On va voir si j'arrive à les mettre en front du G5 sans avoir trop de bruit.

Je trouve que la RAT est très bien, c'est même la meilleure OD du G3. A essayer en prio. Après le pb du couplage avec l'ampli est crucial. Il faut jouer avec les filtres de sortie : pour moi direct ou combo front. Et puis essayer dans une sono, une enceinte de clavier, un retour de boucle d'effet... A un moment on trouve la bonne solution mais la clé est d'avoir un son de base et de mettre des effets cohérents autour. Espérer passer dun clean fender à un gros stack marshall, c'est une illusion. Juste un bon son clair type hiwatt avec une RAT devant, un peu de reverb, un delay et basta.

J'ai le G5 en front du blues junior en son clair.
Les modulations passent bien, idem pour delay reverb, wah.
Les od j'arrive à régler quelque-chose mais c'est globalement trop harsh et pas assez profond dans la réaction aux nuances.
Ca donne beaucoup mieux en mettant une od (pourtant pas haut de gamme, caline cp18 orange burst) devant le G5.

Idem, j'utilise une HT-Dual pour toutes mes distos, mais par contre le G3 est excellent pour les modulations ! Vibe, chorus, vibrato... que du bon ! Je regrette juste qu'il n'y ait qu'un seul type de phaser, avec aussi peu de réglages. C'est dommage car on a plein de chorus différents, mais pas de choix pour les phasers

Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de midi non plus... Et ce ne sera pas implémenté sur les prochaines versions de la série G présentées au NAMM prochainement

Effectivement, toujours pas de midi. Le looper est un peu mieux mais sinon, il n'y a rien de foufou (et je ne suis pas fan du design)

Ah oui, moi aussi je trouve le design immonde. Ils font fausse route, ils auraient dû upgrader le matos, monter en gamme comme L6. Là c'est décevant.

Ben, justement on dirait un mix un peu vilain entre le flagship de Boss et celui de Line6 mais à la mode Zoom...
Bon, après si ça sonne...Ce qui me parait hyper cheap, ce sont les switch placés sur le devant du boitier (celui du tuner, etc)...A voir.

Une date de sortie?
Si ça fait baisser le prix des autres autant attendre un peu 😊

Les pédales supplémentaires me paraissent pas mal, avec un tap utilisable par exemple.
