Welcome to the first edition of our weekly Schecter Spotlight Series, featuring our new 2005 models!!!
We have just debuted our new “Damien Collection” at the recent Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim. The first four guitars in this collection are designed to yet again ‘raise the bar’ of quality, features, and affordability set by the introduction of our Diamond Series in 1998.
The new Damien models will be the first Schecter Diamond Series guitars to use EMG’s HZ humbuckers.
Built on our popular Classic ‘C’ body style, these four models take dead aim at the hard rock guitarist looking for a high quality instrument that won’t break the bank and looks as cool as it sounds.
Common features for all four in the collection include Arched Basswood body, bolted-on rock maple neck, and a rosewood fingerboard with extra jumbo frets. The Sinister Satin Black finish, black hardware and black pearl ‘BAT’ inlays compliment the Damien’s aggressive sound.
The DAMIEN-6 and DAMIEN-FR are 25 ½” scale and are armed with EMG’s popular H4 (bridge) H4A (neck) set. The FR also features a Licensed Floyd Rose locking tremolo system.
The Damien-EX Baritone and the Damien-7 are both 26 ½” extended scale and designed for heavy drop-tuned tuning, tone and clarity.
As with all Schecter Diamond Series guitars and basses, a Limited Lifetime Warranty will back the new “Damien Collection”, and all models will feature this industry’s best set-up. Our “Damien” models will be shipping to our Authorized Dealers by mid-February!
Suggested retail prices are $499.00 for the Damien-6, and $549.00 for the Damien-EX, Damien-FR and Damien-7.
Left-handed version of the Damien-6 will also be available in March.
