Carlos Rivera :
Was in LA over the weekend to visit old friends. Stopped at Norm's and one of the salesman told me Drew Berlin and Matt Swanson are teaming together to begin production on Dumble amps. Drew owns the schematics and rights for the name apparently, although it was always my understanding Alexander never really wrote anything down and the builds were by the use of his fantastic ears and knowledge. Guess we'll see when they come out.
ANDY FUCHS :

I spoke with Drew today and in fact, none of this is true. There will not be production Dumbles coming off the line somewhere. There may be singular examples of each model made purely for the purpose of securing and maintaining the trademark. Trademarks require that you continue to use those trademarks in commerce. Drew said to me “who knows maybe baseball caps and T-shirts and an overdrive special, etc. but a single amp, probably to be sold for a dollar and then given back to the estate just prove that the model exists and it will will be kept from others trying to use the name which has been a massive legal undertaking”. Please don’t spread inaccurate information (Carlos) or anyone else. I got it direct from the source.
: Bludotone, Two Rock, Red Plate, Ceriatone, ... .
