Review ici
When the AD15 model was reviewed in the States, they rated it well above their home-grown brands of similar design. When reviewed in the UK, they liked it so much, they went and bought one. We have even heard of music shop staff that have chosen to go without pay just to get one of their own. What on earth is going on?
It looks like they really got it right with the AD15. Small, light, and a sound you won't believe. Forget everything you know about small amps, this one breaks all the rules.
As with all the other products in the AD Range, the AD15/12 features a smooth emission valve rectifier and full Class 'A' circuitry. This means that the amplifier runs at the same voltage regardless of what volume you use it at, so it produces a far smoother and sweeter tone.
Although it is strictly a 15 watt amplifier, the first thing people say when they try it is "blimey, that's loud!". It's all down to the Class 'A' system: with the amp running more efficiently, it tends be a little (!!) louder than you might expect.
On the top, you've got the master volume and gain controls, along with bass, middle and treble equalisation and standby function. Inside, there's 8 and 16 ohm speaker outputs, and a 12" heavy-duty speaker.
