At the moment we have successfully tested the G-System with the following volume/ expression pedal (s) :
Dunlop GCB-80 high gain volume: Use a Y-split cable from stereo jack in the G-System pedal input, to in and out of the pedal.
Rocktron HEX volume expression pedal: Use the stereo jack (out of the pedal and connect it to G-System pedal in)
Korg EXP-2: Use a stereo jack cable from the output of the pedal to the G-System pedal input.
Ernie Ball 6166: Use a Y-split cable from stereo jack in the G-System pedal input to in and out of the pedal.
Boss FV300 V and H: Use a stereo jack cable
Roland EV5: A cable is included.
TC Helicon Express-1: Use a stereo jack cable.
Additionally, customers have reported success with:
Visual Sound 10th anniversary volume pedal: Set to 'passive' mode, and use a Y-split cable from stereo jack in the G-System pedal input, to in and out of the pedal. You will need to unscrew the bottom plate to change between 'active' and 'passive' mode.
Note: Depending on the pedal, you will need to remap the volume response. The default is set to min: 30% mid: 70%.and max: 100%
This list is not exhaustive! Other brands and models will probably work, but they have not been tested. Some will work with a stereo jacks cable, some with a mono jack cable, some with a Y-Split cable (stereo to 2x mono).
