" both the N4's have had the crap Floyds replaced with the better quality Floyd Rose II's (interestingly enough, i had the same problem with both the original baseplates, the screwholes for the saddle bolts stripped, and i had saddles popping out) so i took this up with washburn, under thier lifetime warranty, of course they refused to replace the bridges, claiming they would only be replaced if a defect could be found, that was generic to all the bridges. So i done some digging, contacted Schaller, who told me that those bridges were crap, because Washburn had specified that they were made from a softer alloy for the baseplate, and schaller were none too happy about it, as it hadn't exactly done thier reputation any good, especially as Schaller also make the Floyd original, floyd II, and Pro models, for Floyd Rose, which are, as we all know the best bridges out there " ....et en conclusion :
" if bridge quality is important to you, then avoid ones with the Washburn liscenced trems. They were made by Schaller, but they were made with a crappy low-quality alloy "
