c'est quoi cette "reverb chamber" sur le croquis guitargeek ?

je cherche une photo de leur pedalboard .....

jónsi: it's just a concrete space. there was more reverb before we built the control room. we're going to put curtains on the walls so we can control it a little bit more too. i just use an old boss rs-1000, a cheap, old rack multi effect-
not digital. it has eq on it too, so you can control it a little bit. it's really simple.

jonsi: i just put everything to eleven, reverb wise. plus i use a bow. you have to play for many years to get the feel for the bow and the movements. it took a long time. it's a six-string guitar so i'm playing chords with it, or just the deeper of higher strings. you can do so much, and you can get overtones. it's like an untamed horse that you're trying to control. the bow has to be right. i use a cello bow because it's wider and longer, and i also use resin on the bow, which helps it to work properly. this all goes through a marshall (cm 2000. it's a set-up i've used for ages, and one that just seems to work. i think it's more about how you play anyway. it's a little bit hard to record, and you have to try different mics quite a lot. i'll be in the control room with the amp and effect, so i can tweak it, and we'll record the speaker downstairs.

I used a very good Marshall stereo amp, and my trusty ol' Fender with the crisp sound. Together it worked very well. It is a kind of effect on the Marshall, that's true, and I think it did the job well, thank you.

e comprends pas trop comment Adam arrive à avoir une saturation bien riche en gain et larsen sur des vieux Marshaux alors que l'on dit tout le temps que "oh le vieux Marshmall tu le pousse à fon et t'aura un bon overdrive à la AC/DC mais pas de distortion proprement dite"

C'est bizarre pour Sigur Ros qu'il n'y ait ni delay ni reverb sur le board. C'est possible que ce ne soit qu'une partie du pedalboard?

J. uses a combination of randall heads and the marshall valvestate head(8100) thru a randall cabinet.
He uses a mesa boogie amp splitter which has 4 outputs so ce can use them all at once.
The randalls amps are the same as dimebag darrell of pantera uses. they're called century 200's. he also uses a roland double beat fuzz wah pedal , a pro-co rat and a mxr distortion pedal, all hooked up at once.
He plays Ibanez iceman guitars, (sorry, I was the one who thought he used fernandes, but that's because the fernandes sustainer is standard on fernandes guitars, I know cuz I almost bought one) his randalls are solid state, if you are not familiar with them.
The ICJ100WZ, co-designed by J. of White Zombie, has the distinction of being the only Iceman model guitar to ever feature Lo-Pro Edge Tremolo. This mahogany body, maple top, set-in neck guitar features hi output pickups and a Galactic Green finish with J's own "Star Graphic" finish.
J. uses fernandes sustainers, which, for your viewing pleasure, I made VISIBLE.
I believe that is where whoever said it got the name fenandes.

He also use Korg effects : Toneworks G1 (Korg ad)

Dans l'interview, ils parlent de reverb en rack, c'est peut-être pour ça.

Pour Adam Jones, je trouve quand même que sa sonorité fait très "ampli boosté". J'ai un GE-7 que j'utilise en amont du préampli JMP-1, et ça peut donner ce type de grain.
Et surtout, surtout, il joue à un volume assourdissant, ça se ressent avec tous les larsens qu'il génère (et gère).
