Blague à part, quel serait l'impact sur le son par rapport aux Kluson?

Les avis divergent sur le Net, mais voilà:

"I installed locking Grovers on my Custom but didn't notice any tonal difference."

"I just don't see tuners having any discernible effect upon tone."

"Mass absorbs vibration until it can vibrate. That has an effect of "tone".

I removed the Grovers on my rist Workhorse and put TonePros Klusons on. Big improvement in response, sustain and hang.

I have always supported the idea of lighter tuners. I feel that the heavier Grovers and Schallers reduce harmonics and overtones.

perso je l'ai fait que sur une Custom. sur une gratte brillante ça peut être intéressant de monter des Grover et inversement...le chevalet aussi ça joue...après faut faire attention à l'équilibre de la gratte car l'écart de poids n'est pas négligeable entre les 2 types de mécas.
Mais bon si tu fais une réplique, pars sur des specs originales et tu affineras une fois que tu pourras la jouer...
Et j'ai toujours lu qu'une bonne burst était plutôt brillante.

Exactement, concernant les mécaniques, je vais rester sur les Kluson, dont j'en préfère le look, concernant la brillance, je n'ai pas eu une vraie Burst, mais j'ai possédé une vraie 1952 Goldtop convertie en 1957 par Historic Makeovers, je confirme donc.
