Ruokangas Guitars and Mad Professor teamed up three years ago to build a perfect match of guitar and amplifier to celebrate both companies' 10-year Anniversary. The goal was to calibrate an electric guitar, tube amp and speaker cabinet to function as One. The out-of-this-world result was finally exposed at The NAMM Show 2006. Since then the set has traveled through a number of shows and exhibitions gathering countless dropped jaws... And now, finally, The Ultimate Match Made in Finland is available through DAG!
Ruokangas Duke Royale 10-year Anniversary Custom
Juha has taken this semi-acoustic guitar to the absolute extreme. The attention to detail is breathtaking. Both top and back are hand-carved and tuned from the inside as in prestige jazz guitars. The tone? Exquisitely matured and smooth with beautiful piano-like sustaining quality - the best of the best! The Royale top is hand-carved of finest Thermo-Treated Arctic Birch from northern Finland. The 2.25" thick hollow body is made of ultra-light Spanish Cedar. Multiple bindings highlight the dynamic curves of this beautiful instrument. Features include:

Mad Professor CS-40 10-Year Anniversary Custom
This amp redefines the word 'custom'. The woodwork for the head and speaker cabinet was designed and built by Ruokangas Guitars, using the same tonewoods they use for their exquisite boutique guitars. Sides and back of the head and speaker cabinet were carved of solid Spanish Cedar, and the face of the head is genuine solid Arctic Birch, laid out in an awesome sunrise pattern, and colored to match the Duke Royale 10-Year Anniversary guitar. The cabinets feature multiple Ivoroid bindings, 24k goldplated metal parts and genuine Abalone inlaid logo plate. The speaker cabinet is fitted with Celestion Alnico Gold 12" elements - the best that money can buy. And.. the grill of the speaker cabinet is handwoven solid copper wire!
Inside the elaborate custom head we'll find the MP CS-40 - the ultimate handmade guitar amplifier. We are not talking about 3-dimensional tone, this one is a 4-D tone! And the touch response is awesome, this is about the most dynamic amp there exists. There are tones from sparkling clean to fat and sweet, singing overdrive, from sparkle to rumble... ALL the parts are overrated and should last for ages. A quick look at the specs reveal:
