Décidément, c'est la saison qui doit vouloir ça :
Poison singer shot at while on tour
Poison frontman Bret Michaels was the victim of a drive-by shooting on Monday (November 21st) in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The singer was in his living quarters in the back of his tour bus when a bullet came through a window, spraying glass everywhere. He suffered some minor facial cuts but was otherwise unhurt, and he decided to perform that night as scheduled. Witnesses were able to give police a good description of the shooter's vehicle, which was a Ford F150 pickup truck that had a new chrome toolbox in the back, like contractors and construction workers often have. No shell casings were found at the scene, and it's unknown what kind of gun was used.
The Poison frontman described the incident to us:

Then I laid down on the bed -- in the back, like, the Custom Coach has a bed -- I just laid on it, dropped on the floor, a couple of the guys came running up the hall of the bus. I said, 'Guys, am I shot? I mean, is everything -- is my arm' -- (chuckles) I mean, you don't know! I was like, 'I feel glass or something in my face, I can feel it.' I said, 'Is it a shotgun wound? What is it?'"
Michaels praised the local police for their immediate response, but he told us that he doubted their theory that it was a random, gang-related shooting:
[ click here to listen if you have a Backstage Pass] "I don't think it was random, I think it was someone that just not a big fan of me or something. It's just -- I don't know a lot of gang-bangers that drive (an) F150 with a construction toolbox in the back. I'm pretending to play detective, but it just seems like it was a little more thought out, and they knew exactly what window, and like the police officer said, exactly what height. I mean, it was right dead-center in the window, perfect height."
Finally, he asked us to spread this call for information:
[ click here to listen if you have a Backstage Pass] "I just want to say to anybody out there, especially in the Northeast area -- up near Boston, Springfield (Massachusetts), Chicopee, outside of Hartford (Connecticut) -- (if) anyone has any information at all that would give us some kind of clue as to who this person might be, please contact us at janna-at-bretmichaels.com -- and that's j-a-n-n-a-at-bretmichaels.com - and we would really, really appreciate it."
The singer is no stranger to this kind of thing. Someone known as Mark Kram has been menacing him for years, and investigators believe he's located in the Northeastern United States.
