Current Information - Update from March 11, 2022
Unfortunately, due to the war in Ukraine, we have to assume that the export of amplifier tubes from Russian production will come to a complete standstill in the near future. When and if the supply situation will ease again cannot be said at the moment.
In addition, there are still considerable delivery problems from other manufacturers, who have reached their production capacities due to the high demand. Here, too, it is currently impossible to say whether and when availability will return to normal.
Irrespective of these supply problems, we must also expect prices to continue to rise sharply for all products. Either through an increase in the price of raw materials such as oil or wood, or through rising transport costs. In the end, both factors will probably come together. For example, a price increase of 200 - 300, sometimes even up to 400 % could already be observed for wood, and this before the outbreak of war. Since many woods and wood products come from Russia, it should be safe in which direction the prices develop further.
We try to maintain the ability to deliver as good as possible and also to offer alternative products, especially for the tubes, but this becomes more and more difficult the longer the war hangings will last.
The prices themselves we can not keep stable, even by optimized purchasing or transport, this is impossible. But again, we will try to keep the increases as moderate as possible.
I also ask for your understanding that we can not answer any inquiries about delivery ridges or availability of individual products, and also will not give advice on tube assemblies at the moment. Currently you can't be choosy, you have to take what you get.
Thank you for your understanding,
Dirk
