Puisque j'en parle ailleurs :
WARREN CUCCURULLO

Allo there, On the recent None Radio broadcast featuring Warren he produced the most gorgeous tone when he was playing. He ascribed the production of said tone to a specific pedal -- I am curious as to what that pedal was. That is, the manufacturer and model. Thank you so. ---E.S.
the Experience fuzz is just an old style hendrix type fuzz with the octave above if you choose that setting...the way i achieve my horn like tone as i call it is through the experience fuzz, with a whammy pedal up 1 octave (old style whammy 2 is the way to go, coz it has a volume control & you can get a little more distortion that way) with an auto wah on a low sensitivity setting...it goes through a clean amp, on none i used a bassman model amp from the pod xt pro...a phaser also adds a nice flavor to this overall sound...i keep the volume quite low on the fuzz, just to the point where you hear the frazzy hi end come in...then i use the 2 hand tapping technique to play the phrases...

Just a quick question about `Out Of My Mind`. I listened to this excellent Duran Duran track the other night & was wondering what type of guitar you used for this track? Was it an acoustic? The guitar is mixed well back and I can make out the synths, drums & bass, but the guitar is very quiet. (Well, that`s how it seems anyway). Please help? Best regards, Kevin.
The guitar I used on that track was the Parker Fly.

Hey there, Warren, you rawk! I`ve always admired the cool sounds you get out of your pedals, and of course wonder what in the world you have down there. Can you recommend some cool pedals for some really whacked sounds? I have most of the Boss effects, but nothing sounding quite like your stuff.
Thanks, Eric. I love processing guitar sounds. For most of my guitar playing life I`ve used one type of effect or another. Some of my early favorites were the Foxx tone machine fuzz, with octave sustain, the morley echo/volume pedal, the fuzz face, the ADA flanger & the MXR phase 100. These were used on the Missing Persons EP & Spring Session M album. I was also using an E-bow on some songs. As time went on & after much pre-midi experimenting with 1 switch mechanical patch changing, I discovered the very different world of midi controlled rack mount effects. Now any sound that I ever heard on a record that I liked, or any sound I could dream up, could be dialed in to perfection, stored, & recalled at any time. This was an unbelievable breakthrough for me. It gave me a knowledge of soundcrafting that I could only have expected by spending a lifetime in a studio, but I was experimenting & recording at home. I recruited the finest technicians to help put together giant racks full of different high end guitar processors, to help realize any & all possibilities for the studio & live performance. Some of my favorite boxes are, eventides H 3000se, the sony GP5, the zoom 9050, & the lexicon pcm80 & Jam Man. In conjunction with the Digitech Whammy pedal & other more classic stomp boxes I am able to create new & interesting sounds constantly, without having upgraded from this particular combination of effects for over 6 years.
