Hello,
Pour info, et en attendant de retrouver mon OX qui est parti au SAV depuis 3 semaines, voici la réponse à ma requête auprès de UA :

I have worked directly with many of the users that have reported this issue on the forums and we have even had product managers test units that they have sent in and we have not, in any of these cases, found there to be any related issues or any kind of an overreaching distortion problem with these units at all. I would check to make sure that the speaker drive knob is turned down in the application and switch it to the "100 Watt" option to see if this helps.
I would check to make sure that any Pedals you are utilizing are removed from the test because any digital components in these pedals can cause digital clipping prior to the signal reaching the Ox. the “Speaker output” on the Ox is purely Analog and digital clipping is not possible here because there are simply no digital components involved, and even when running a 150 Watt Triple rectifier it is not possible to clip the analog input of the Ox box. There is not any modeling or processing of any kind being done on this output, just reactive attenuation. If the noise you are experiencing is present here, odds are it is coming from the amplifier in one way or the other. This is a great way to help zero in on any audio issues you may be having. In addition to this, Some tube amps are just designed and internally tweaked to sound their best at a volume of 4 to 6. Many amps such as later silver face Twin reverbs (for example) are real linear in their power stages, so those particularly sound like sound very crackly and unpleasantly distorted when the gain is driven to distort.
When using the Ox you may find that you are hearing your amp in a way that was not possible before. Because of this you may hear tonal differences, Tube Crackles (when input is driven hard), phase inverter distortion, Crossover distortion or other unexpected sounds that may not have been perceptible through use of your amplifier prior to the introduction of the Ox to your rig. This is normal when hearing your normally used settings on your amp and monitoring them at a much lower volume, and it is common to hear these kinds of tonal variants and distortion when using any Reactive Load box and are not specific to Ox in particular. Posts of this type can be found on forums regarding Load boxes from many different manufacturers.
That said, I think that it would be a great test to try another Ox to verify that there is not any kind of a hardware failure at play, and I would be very interested to see what it is you hear when using a different Ox unit, so let me know how that goes!
