Bon, c'est encore à moi de m'y coller pour faire remonter ce topic alors aujourd'hui :
JOHNNY MARR (guitariste des Smiths entre autres) :
Voici une photo de la période Smith (vers 1984) :

Plus tard avec the the :
"On tour, I'm using a MESA/Boogie Quad Preamp through Electro-Voice speakers in Marshall 2 x 10 cabinets (with the "Marshall" label taken off, of course -- that will probably offend some readers). The power amp is a MESA/Boogie 295. I had intended to buy a 400, but it had a cold, hi-fi sound. The 295 is much more sympathetic to guitar. From the effects send on the Boogie, I go into a T.C. Electronic 2290 and a Yamaha GEP50. I've got a Roland GP8, too -- those guitar processors are okay if you use them together with another effect. And I've got the wonderful Eventide Harmonizer, which I use for some of the expansive stereo choruses."

Et maintenant en solo :
"On tour I'm using my 1963 S.G, a '57 Les Paul Gold Top and a Custom Rickenbacker 12 String through a Vintage Tubescreamer, a Roland GT5 Effects processor and a Voodoo Vibe. My amps are Orange AD 30''s and 50's or Matchless DC 30s and Fender Deluxe Reverbs"
