hop, reponse de Bernd:
"For get Ritchies heavy sound, the HS-C (= Hornby-Skewes first version 1967 replica) is simply the best, for more "airey" bluesy sound, the Mk2 (= Hornby-Skewes second version 1969 replica)is better. Ritchie used both version in DP
For DP in Rock, I prefer the HS-C, for Smoke on the Water, I prefer like Ritchie in this case the Mk2....
The Fireball is a high select premium HS unit and is the unit for ultimativly Blackmore-Maniacs or guitarrist, the need more and want to going a little "over the top"
Prices:
HC-C:: 180Euro,
Mk2:: 165Euro,
Fireball:: 225Euro
shipping:: 9Euro
General note to Fireball
Now, the new Fireball is a premium special transistor select HS/HS-C unit and produce a biting hardrock sound. Of reason of this selection, it will be given not more than 12...15 units per year. By testing and analyse 100 transistors, about 10...12 items have this needed parameters and produce this sound. Therefor, the price for Fireball is very high.
Its like a fine AAAAA+ wood selection, compare with the stock AA graded by PRSmith guitars....
I see the Fireball more as a collectors item for customer, which like going "a little over the top".... for classic Blackmore sound, you need only the HS or HS-C, for mellow, airy sound like in 71 "Beat Club" shows (on DVD: Masters from the vaults) or the BBC-tapes, use the new MK2.... "
bon je pense donc laisser la fireball de cote ca c'est regle, mais je n'avais pas vu la MKII... bref j'en suis toujours a 2 pedales possibles je m'en sortirai jamais
