The FUZZ FELLA™ BLUE BC108C's FUZZ control is setup so all of the range is from 100% to 80% with a Stratocaster and 100% to 70% with a Les Paul. It creates a different fuzz tone than if the travel was spread throughout the range of the fuzz pot. It just worked best with this edition. It's best to set the FUZZ knob with the guitar volume rolled back instead of setting the amount of fuzz with the guitar volume maxed out.
It's also setup this way so that you can dial the FUZZ knob back below 80% on a cranked amplifier. This way you can color and layer the Fuzz Fella over the pushed amp without having too much noise or having too much gain/distortion. It's also great for stacking with an overdrive.
Lastly, there's actually more range packed into the 100% to 70% on the FUZZ knob than the 100% to 35% on the '68 RVF.
It also effects how the other controls interact. You can now dial the FUZZ knob nearly to max and reduce the BASS knob to a minimum for a great overdrive tone.
