Kotzen, qui semble avoir trouvé pas mal de fan ici, vient d'intégrer un groupe, voici la news
FORTY DEUCE FOR FRONTIERS:
Frontiers Records proudly announces the worldwide release of Forty Deuce's debut album entitled Nothing To Lose on August 29!
Forty Deuce's "don't let life pass you by" attitude is powerfully contagious in the most primitive sense. Forging a sound that duplicates their brazen lifestyle, loud fashion and multi-ethnic influences enables this group to bridge cross-cultural appeal.
The lineup includes monster guitar player and singer Richie Kotzen (Mr. Big, Poison), Taka, a Tokyo native on guitar, Ari (bass) and Thr3e on drums.
Forty Deuce quickly rose in Los Angeles' club scene with their in-your-face, no-nonsense style of rock-n-roll. Performance after live performance, Forty Deuce's sold out live spectacles have fueled the quartet's reputation of being, as the Music Director of the legendary Phoenix rocker KUPD, Larry McFeelie, says "a great f*****g band!"
Comments from the press and radios include: "Amazing songs! Richie's voice is simply amazing." - Guitar Player
"Taka, a Kyoto, Japan native, combines crunchy aggressive hooks with sophisticated melodies." - Hits
"Ari delivers a thunderous low-end groove, with a melodious style and visceral power." -LA Weekly
"Thr3e combines creative originality with the tremendous sound." - All Access
"Ari and Thr3e lay down a pounding rhythm section that enables Richie to shine in the driver's seat, giving their music a fresh cutting edge sound." - Aggro Acctive.
The album shall also have an official release in Japan on King Records and USA to be announced shortly. Stay tuned with more and more cool info about this great new band!
Listen, smile, agree, and then do whatever the fuck you were gonna do anyway.
