In the last couple of months, there has been alot of talk on the streets and on the internet about the newest series of guitars to come out of the Gibson factory, the faded series, and for good reason!!! The Gibson guitar company amazed guitarists from all over the world when they announced recently that they would be producing a geuine, American made Les Paul guitar for about half the price of a current Les Paul Studio. They called it, the Faded Les Paul. And although it seemed too good to be true, the results have been extrordinary.
The Faded Les Paul has become one of the best selling guitars in a very short period of time. It sounds, plays, and feels like a Les Paul. That's because it is one. It offers a mahogany body like its older brothers, a tuneomatic bridge, a 490 neck pickup and a 498T bridge pickup, the same 24 3/4" neck scale, and of coarse the same body style that's made the Les Paul guitar an American icon. The new Les Paul comes in three classic colors; transparent black, tv yellow, and cherry. Once you get a hold of one, you'll agree that Gibson has a definate winner with their new faded Les Paul.
Next up is the Faded Flying V. It's back to the Flying V future with this model. Gibson of course has done it again. Gibson has created, in this faded series, the next Rock n' Roll legend by giving this classic but futuristic model the look of a well-worn, well-loved, vintage instrument. Fly to new heights of tone with this guitar that not only has all the features you need to create blistering, mind shattering Rock n' Roll poetry but also is a fraction of the price of guitars at this standard.
Finally comes the now famous Faded SG. AC DC will salute you as you jam on this guitar that looks, feels, and plays as good as one from yester year. Great care has been taken to make sure that these guitars have that feel of being broken in, like you've been sweating all over them and your groupies have been drooling all over you in the process.
